Friday Favorites – She Means Business

I just finished my 5th book of 2017.

I know I just posted a book last week (in the future I'll try to spread them out a bit more)

But I. Am. Obsessed with this last pick.

She Means Business by Carrie Green.

This book was not only motivational (who doesn't love that) BUT it was also jam packed with super valuable information and brilliant tips that will help you up-level your business. Even if you're JUST starting out or if you haven't even started a business yet, but it's been on your mind, it's a must read.

It takes a special book for me to read it twice, but I know this one will definitely be just that.

The book is divided into three parts. I want to give you a glimpse into what I loved about each one.

Part one right out of the gates she spoke on some of the problems we face as we're getting our businesses started. She talks about mindset, goals and dreams, and your wants in life. She brought in stories of other successful women entrepreneurs, which is super inspiring!

This isn't a book you just read through. She introduces "She Takes Action" exercises at the end of the segments, which keeps you oh so accountable in implementation as you go through the book.

Part two Is alllllll about the strategies. She covers money blocks, your vision, your audience and how to build it, and more! My favorite part is where you can create your own Growth Game Plan; which takes all of the skills and information you learned and shows you how to apply them.

I marked SO many pages in this section to go back over and re-read over and over and over again, and most importantly implement them!

Part three was really a vital section for me because as I've been growing my businesses, there have been plenty of moments that I've wanted to give up. Or where I've been comparing myself to others. But in this section she gentle reminded me that I shouldn't be discouraged about how slow it takes me to get to where I want to be. And that I can't and shouldn't compare my Chapter 1 to some else's Chapter 20. And neither should you.

You with me???? We need to link arms with the women around us. We need to motivate and keep each other accountable.

I want to know; have you read it or are you planning on picking up a copy!? <3

Love and up-leveling our businesses,
